Heading to WDW in November with my DD9 (and others), and was looking for some insight on whether to do the PPTP, which we missed on our last trip when she was 5. She loves Aurora and American Girl type dolls, so thought she would enjoy this. But, wondering (a) how nice is the doll and (b) would a 9 year old who likes younger things be too old for this event -- i.e., trying to figure out if it would be worth the extra cost.

I would be interested in hearing some recents reviews also! I have this booked for our trip in June. It's a one time splurge for us so I hope it's amazing! My daughter is really excited and we will be celebrating her 5th birthday on the trip.

We went last summer in August and my daughter, age 3, loved it! It was a great experience for her, and if you can swing it financially I would do it as a one time thing. She likes the doll, but the doll isn't as high-quality as, say, an American girl doll. In other words the hair tangles. I put the hair in a braid almost immediately to keep it nice. The interaction with Aurora was awesome and with rose petal. They took a lot of time with each girl when they came to the table.

Our granddaughters ages 5 and 7 at the time did this 2 years ago. It was the highlight of the trip for them and for mom and Nana. I think a 9 year old who loves Disney, Aurora, and dolls will love it. They said Rose Petal and Aurora were great.
