I'm not on anything for my migraines, but then I only get 2 -3 a year, usually when the seasons change. I can always tell they're on their way when I start to tunnel vision before eventually losing it completely.
One think that sometimes helps, at least a little, is to have a hot bath. I am NOT saying this makes them go away but there has been some research into the blood flow during a migraine and it was showing how blood moves away from the hands and feet. A hot bath can increase blood flow to the extremities which can sometimes ease symptoms. My husband will also massage my arms and legs for the same reason.
