Just curious if anyone has a Disney themed tree or does anything creative with Disney stuff for Christmas time. I have been wanting to do a Disney Tree for the past few years and I decided in January (yes January) that I would do one this year.

So far I have bought some ornaments on my Disney travels and a small tree (4ft pre-lit) tree to get me started, but I need a tree skirt, some type of tree topper (I was thinking my golden MM :earsboy: ears), some garland, etc. Anyone have any ideas? Of crouse I have been crusing e-bay, but some disney stuff just seems really over priced.

I have one, tinkerbell topper, mickey and gang skirt, all my disney ornaments that I have collected over the years. I love it.

we have the tink topper and a boat load of disney ornaments. And don't forget the disney train for under the tree.

I don't have a full-blown Disney X-mas tree, but I would say that 1/2 of my ornaments are ones that I have bought from WDW. I just love them too and I can hardly wait to see them again in about a month. :)

My family had 2 trees a lot of the time growing up. Mom and I did an AWESOME one for a few years. We took all my Disney plush and made Santa hats for them. These were then placed on an artificial tree, all over it. We interspersed our disney ornaments (we didn't have that many) and used a red bow (with the ends hanging down the sides) for the topper. I now have a Tink topper, but I don't live with them anymore. :) We saw something similar at Disney World and decided we could do it!

Well, it's not a Disney-themed tree on purpose, but has been getting us Christmas ornaments every year since we were born. Let's just say a lot of those are Disney characters... :teeth:

This year I would love to do a mini one for my Disney/scrapbooking room. Did some one mention a Tinkerbell topper.

WHERE ???????????????

Last year I made some wooden boxes for mini trees. I just painted one burgandy then sponged Mickey heads all over.

We have just begun finishing our basement --into a family room & bathroom. Both will be all Disney. I told DH that the family room needs to be completed by Dec. because I want to put up a Disney Christmas tree. Oh, I wish those contractors could speed it up a bit. :earsboy:

Not a whole tree but my tree does boast numerous disney ornaments. I also have 3 Disney houses that go along with my house collection(hoping to add more this year). I also have numerous other Disney christmas themed items that I put out all over the house. I have a Belle stocking that must be hung every single year. I will definetly be taking pictures to post this year :teeth:

Last Christmas we took a small tabletop tree to Fort Wilderness! You bet it was Disney themed. We will do this again this year but it is so small that it isnt hard to fill up.

I have been getting Disney Christmas ornaments for the main tree for years. However, this year I have a 2nd tree in my master bedroom. It's up already with the purchased Disney ornaments and I am now in the process of filling in the spaces with homemade Mickey heads. I made them out of styrofoam balls, covered with really pretty glittery fabric and then glued together to make the Mickey head. They look pretty cool if I do say so myself! Also, I have tiny circular picture frames that I got, once upon a time, to make cross stitch Christmas ornaments, which I have 75 of, on my main tree. However, with the remaining 20 or so frames I decided to shrink some of my favorite digital pictures of our Disney trips and place in the frames! It really personalizes the tree. When we went to WDW during Chritmas last year I got a Tinkerbell tree topper with fiberlights in the wings. I'm going to have a hard time taking this tree down!!!

TC :cool1:

Not yet.. I just recently thought about starting one.. I have started a cruise one though.. Every cruise I go on I buy an ornament on the ship that has the ship name on it.. so far Im up to 6 and by next christmas will have 8.. woo hoo.. I cant wait until I can have an entire tree of nothing but cruise ornaments.. I decided on my last cruise I am also going to start buying an ornament in each port if I can find one to go with my ship ornaments.. so my next cruise I will start that..

Mine was originally purchased at the disney store. Don't know if they still have them, but they're on disneyshopping.com!

I do!! Many years ago I collected the Grolier Disney ornaments - kids are older (16 and 18) now but still only want the Disney ones on the tree.

I also have a mini "Barbie" tree - my dad gives DD the Barbie hallmark ornament every year.

ME TOO, ME TOO

I collected the Grollier ornaments as well and also picked up some when we went so it is a combination of Disney and other ornaments. Each child gets an ornament every year to put on the tree themed on what they are into and this year we just came back from WDW so they both have a new Disney ornament for the tree - they'll have a great personalized set of ornaments by the time they move onto their own places/homes.

We have one. We have collected most of the Grolier Disney ornaments and last year we purchased two sets of Mickey Head shaped glass balls in WDW. All topped off with Tinkerbell, but sadly, the version before the one with fiber optic wings.

My Disney Hallmark Ornaments are slowly taking over my tree. :teeth:
Soon Disney will be the only thing on the tree. :goodvibes

I have one I keep up year round near our screened porch. It is tall but slim. I laminated a variety of disembarkation luggage tags from DCL, it's really cute. :goodvibes

Anyone have pictures of their Disney trees? I would love to see!! :Pinkbounc
