My DS(6yo) ate there in May of 2005 (he was 4.5yo at the time). He is allergic to peanut and treenuts (my 3yo may also be allergic and ate there). Call before you go, and talk to the chef, let them know you are coming. I am sure they will give your table a really good cleaning. Once we sat down, the chef came out and actually sat at our table for a few minute talking to us (he was my favorite of all of the chefs!). They did not bring the peanut sauce to our table-- there were a few other sauces that we had instead. It was my son's favorite restaurant, and he requested it again for his birthday trip next week. Actually we're eating there twice on the next trip since we're having breakfast there as well. I don't think its any more dangerous than eating at a restaurant that serves peanut butter and jelly (which a few do). Bring benedryl and your Epi Pen of course, just in case-- you can never be too careful. However if you really don't feel comfortable-- don't go. Don't worry if your family feels you are being inflexible-- I stopped worrying about that when my family continued to serve nuts at functions knowing it put my son at risk. Though if you want to go, I have found that Disney will do anything you want to put you at ease! The peanut allergy is one of the reasons that Disney is pretty much our only choice for vacations. Noone accomodates us the way Disney does!!
