Anyone wathing the live Trading Spaces?

I can't believe what these 2 idiots are doing to these rooms. How can they think anyone will ever take them serious. Can't wait to see the look on the faces of these people on live tv.

OMG!! I never thought Hildi would do a room that was worse than her Circus Room or the one where she glued hay on the walls. But this one may be her new low-water mark. That orange floor is hideous.

We're watching it too. DW Lauri's reaction when Hildi said they were doing something to the carpet was "oh my God, she's going to paint it!" Of course, we're also talking about the woman who has spray painted furniture on more than one occasion and tried to dye carpet, so it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Actually, I'm really liking Doug's brown venetian plaster walls. And I'm loving the stripper poles!

That was my reaction too. When she said they were going to do something to the carpet I thought for sure she was going to try and paint it.

I really didn't care for either of the rooms. I think they picked Doug and Hilde because they knew people would watch for reactions to their rooms.

well the rooms weren't as bad as I thought they would be. IF you repainted the ceiling (love the cloud affact but not with the red walls)and put nuetral colored slip covers on the furinture in Hildi's room it would look great. Loved the bedroom except for the blue curtains.

I actually liked Doug's room. I LOVED the stripper poles. I wish I had some in my bedroom...I'd be playing with them all day...just like how Doug was swinging around it, that would be me I didn't liket he blue curtain though. It seemed like it clashed with the rest of the room.

I also like the Pen and Teller appeance

is down for a few weeks and the adhesive comes up in the tile seams. They used way too much glue, DH does it for a living, he gets furious when they remove the carpet and make mistakes that will show up later. And when that stuff comes up, it will be a real bad mess, the homeowner should have it redone and send the "decorator" the bill.

I can't believe the they allow Hilde to continue, the show that was on (a repeat) before (which I hadn't seen) she used adhesive backed wine bottle labels (stickers) 4000 of them to cover up the wallpaper, and the people are totally against alcohol! It's almost like she finds out what the people don't like, and then does it on purposes.

I like Lori ok, Frank is too country cutesy for me, but Vern needs to come to my house and fix my BORING living room.

I just watched the repeat (11pm CST) and the ending was different. Instead of Paige coming in with the homeowners to reveal the room it was just the producers (or whoever they were) coming in pretending to be the homeowners and giving funny reactions and stuff. It was all weird and messed up. Did anyone else see it?

I actually had to get out of bed and run down to the computer to find out if that was just my tv!

I didn't get to see the first one so I stayed up to watch the second one and all I got to see of the "live" reveal were some stupid Trading Spaces people standing around making fun of the people who participate in the show.

I am so incredibly dissapointed that I stayed up to watch that.

That's so funny about Hilde's carpet, I said the exact same thing, she's going to DYE it!

Doug's room was not as bad as I thought it would be, Hilde's was awful, I thought. The orange checkerboard flooring didn't go with the red and blue walls and furniture. She has absolutely NEVER done a room that I even remotely liked.

That's funny about the repeat with the producers doing the live reveal, how silly is that? You'd think they'd just re-show the tape from the live reveal show.

spb, they both liked it, though the wine couple said they weren't offended but would probably take the labels off. the other couple bought them a wall-paper steamer. LOL

wine labels were on the first episode Tamie ...... Hilde (who else) wallpapered the Kitchen with wine bottle labels for a Texas Vineyard kitchen !

I thought it was kind of rude the way the Trading Spaces members were making fun of the homeowners. "Where's my ceiling fan", "oh, there's a lamp on the floor".
