Anyone watching Big Love??

And, what's Rhonda's big secret w/Nicky? Calling her a liar, etc.?

I thought it was just that Nicky knew that her "papa" was the one that exposed them and wasn't tellling Bill. But now it's out in the air.

Maybe I missed something though.

I thought that, too ... but then thought it has to be something bigger that that!

Alby and Sarah -- I think that he might have something up his sleeve w/Sarah ... kidnapping, maybe? After all, Sarah isn't "staying sweet" kissing that guy, so he might be trying to blackmail her. I just could see Alby kidnapping her to try to get back at Bill.

I think those women all all good actresses to look/act so ga-ga over Bill Paxton! He gives me the creeps!!!!

Alby is a repressed homosexual ... he said so in one of the interviews of the Big Love actors that they're airing now. Also, Nicky alluded to Alby being a repressed homosexual b/c Alby said something about her being Papa's "favorite girl" and she said something like "no, you're Papa's favorite girl". I'd have to rewatch the Reunion episode -- but it's where they're all wearing best whites and Nicky's hanging sheets and she reprimands Alby saying "Alby, it's best whites, not brown".

Who thinks that Brynn (the girlfriend of Barb's son) is going to wind up pregnant? I said to DH ... wouldn't it be funny if Bill dumped Margene and the son took her and Brynn up as wives!?

And, what's Rhonda's big secret w/Nicky? Calling her a liar, etc.?

Also when Alby went to the police there was a brief moment of him checking out the butt of a police man.

I like the show. The Phophet is so creepy. I also like both Nicky's mother and Bill's mother.

Rhonda is becoming more and more interesting as well..

I also like both Nicky's mother and Bill's mother.

They were just amazing in the last episodes! Nicky's mom being so cold and then stomping on the tape. And I loved the scene where she was chain sawing the pig!

And Bills mom, so funny those expressions of hers!!! I loved it when Bill said she'd go to jail too and she whipped into action, trying to get Wanda to shoot the prosecuter!!

Oh man, what's not to love about that show!!! :rotfl:

I about died laughing when Wanda gave Bill the gun in the hallway of the Court Building!

And, Alby was def. checking out that police officer's backside!

I also love Nicky's mother and Bill's mother. V. funny ladies! I loved Nicky's Mom at the reunion where she was going through the lineage w/the little girl. "Now, listen close b/c this is tricky .... I'm actually my own great grandmother because ...." Hahahahaha!!!!

I look forward to Monday b/c of this show! And, every time they replay it on HBO, I have to watch it!!!

Did you know that Rhonda was the voice for Lilo in the Lilo and Stitch movie!?

ETA -- I was convinced that Rhonda had the tape w/Bill's "confession"! I thought she was going to blackmail him w/it!

I also love this show but I find myself lost quite often. I may have to rewatch past episodes and try to figure out what's going on with some of them.

I love when Bill's mom prays -- something like, "We've been downtrodden, but now we're cookin' with gas!" when she thinks the Lord is going to help them kick some butt!!! :rotfl:

I love Bill Paxton's bare *** at least it is a male. How many times do we see womans ****s it is about time

I started watching last season with the finale. My question is, do I need to go back and watch the first episodes? I think they are on demand, I just don't know if I just start now(I think I know the plots, just don't know who really gave him the antifreeze(I think dad)). Any help you can give would be great.

Deanna :bored: :cat:

Wanda gave him the antifreeze!

Love, love, love this show! Can't wait 'til Monday night comes 'round!

I may be wrong, so don't quote me, but I don't think we can say *** on here. :teeth:

That girl is just a big fat LIARability. Bill's mom is so funny. Wanda poisioned everyone who thinks is a threat against Joey. Did you hear Joey say that Roman was planning on reassigning her to either Alby or Frank EEEWWWWWWW

Also when Alby went to the police there was a brief moment of him checking out the butt of a police man.
.
..

He picked up a male prostitute last season but didn't do anything

Did you hear Joey say that Roman was planning on reassigning her to either Alby or Frank EEEWWWWWWW

Yeah -- that was a threat to get Joey to call Bill and get him to spill. I doubt that Roman would reassign ... but who knows w/Roman, right!?

He picked up a male prostitute last seaosn but didn't do anything

Yes -- that's why he's a repressed homosexual! On one of those shorts, there's a comment where the actor who plays Alby says something about Alby being a repressed homosexual. If he doesn't say it, one of the other actors mentions it.

Also, as I said on another page, Nicky makes some comment about him being "daddy's favorite girl" while hanging laundry in dress whites.

OK, so they're replaying last night's episode on HBO. The Juniper Creek police are at Bill's houses looking for Rhonda. The one police officer says to Nicky "Everyone knows why you took her, Nicky."

What does that mean? If Nicky wanted to hide the fact that she knew about Roman exposing Barb, then why would she take Rhonda from the compound and into the house?

Do you think that Rhonda might be Roman and Nicky's child? Remember how creepily cozy Roman and Nicky looked on the bed at Nicky's little boy's bday party when Bill walked in!? She could have had her as a young teenager and the Volmers could have taken her in. This could've been well hidden at the compound, I'm sure.

Therefore, if "everyone knows why you took her, Nicky", there has to be more to this story line. There has to be another reason why Rhonda is calling Nicky a liar, etc. Thoughts!?

Can someone tell me what the episode is titled in On Demand where they are talking about their characters?

I can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

Yeah, I have thought of that also. It would be really hard imagining your sister in a situation like that. I can't even think of how I would act. But, I do know we would be estranged because I wouldn't want my children to be exposed to a life style like that. Its creepy and demeaning to women, IMO.

Ok, this is what bothers me about the shows situation:

Bill does not seem to be 'in love' with his wives. There is constant talk of 'we are family', but other than with Barb I am only seeing religious obligation and sort of a authoritative paternal yet sexual relationship with Margene and Nicky. i see more actual 'feeling' between the wives.

There was a scene this season, where Nicky addresses that. She's talking with Barb about marrying for love vs. marrying for the principle. From other episodes, it seems that she was brought on board during Barb's bout with cancer, and for reasons of the principle, rather than love. Last season, it was hinted at that Margene was a somewhat troubled youth and Bill "rescued her". It's a very twisted father-daughter type relationship there, IMO.

I also think that is why Nicky is so quick to feel like she's going to be thrown out.

This show just creeps me out. I watch it when I can...but it still creeps me out. I can't imagine folks choosing to live like that. What a chaotic nightmare. It's hard enough for one man and one woman.
