ABC seems to be airing this promotion more often.
It is obvious that this is just not a spoiler, and is preview/promotional stuff put out by the show.

And, about this:

It is nothing to be disclosed or not...
It is out there.
It is part of the whole Bachelorette show as aired by ABC.

If there are a few people who do not want to see any legitimate, non-spoiler information, AT ALL.... Who only want to watch the two hour show on Monday nights... and that is all... Hey, I can respect that.... I would suggest that they do not watch ABC television at any other time, they do not go online, and that, 'out of respect for others', they do not participate in a legitimate discussion thread about the show, which does include all advertising and promotional material put out there by ABC.

So simple, it would seem.

It is very simple. very very simple. If you are really interested in discussing what you have seen on any spoiler or non spoiler media outlets, regarding upcoming shows, then there is another thread that is perfect for you. The majority of participants on THIS thread have decided to exculde that type of information because some feel it is spoiler information ( and yes I realize you personally don't believe that to be true.)

I would think out of courtesy to them you would want to refrain from discussing it especially since there is ANOTHER thread that is probably already discussing it as we speak that you would be welcome at.

Now of course I can't tell you where to post or what to post, but I don't understand the insistance on arguing that you are right. The bottom line is that some people here don't want to see the info, so out of respect for them we shoud discuss that info somewhere else. Why is that a problem for you?

To keep this topic consistent - what exactly constitutes a spoiler? I've always assumed a spoiler is the sharing of key details or information (such as who the winner is in the end), or anything not released by a network/show.

However, according to some of your posts, we are only to discuss scenes from current episodes- nothing more. No discussing; 'scenes from this season or next week on the Bachelor' (even if it appears during the regular 2 hr broadcast), network commercials/announcements/advertisements...no telling who the next Bachelor/Bachelorette...no discussing post breakups until ATFR airs...etc.

I just don't want this this thread to turn into not being fun anymore esp since I know we've discussed upcoming episodes/events/scenes surrounding the show in the past without debate - and without giving away key details/info.

So I'm hoping this an isolated topic of discussion where; even though the show has broadcast (on numerous occasions) a particular scene, then edited it for suspense - the majority is choosing not discuss it out of respect?

There have been about 25± of us posters who have started this "limited" thread. We are the ones who, week after week, post after post to each other, which includes the jokes, snarkiness about the show, "personal drama" as you referred to it, bacon jokes, respect and caring for each other as we follow each other from one "Monday nite TV thread" to another. ALL those posts for the past 8 weeks and about 1,300 posts have made up the personality, style, preferences and type of thread that WE have collectively made it.

We have ALSO by majority input on the last three pages have said, whatever you would like to call that info, to not have it here.

You have posted a total of 21 times here, 5 of which, in the last few days have shouted at us and pretty much have taken over this thread about this and changed the tone from the fun, snarky thread that it was to this. You are turning this into a private agenda to turn this thread into what YOU want it to be.

The majority of "regulars" here have already given our input on this matter. So yes, by majority agreement we are limiting and controlling this thread. If this is doesn't meet your needs, you are certainly free to start another Bachelor thread and let us get back to our happy, snarky, filled with personal drama thread.

Have the Mods taken away your ability to start threads? I don't get why you are so attached to needing the info to be on this thread after only 16 posts?

Her take on Ben is sooooo spot on! Everything we were saying, she reiterated...the way he disrespected her when she spoke to him about Courtney, how he basically threatened her with his "tread carefully" remark and how she's lost respect for him while watching the season play out. Clearly Courtney is in it to win it...winning! I don't think it matters who the bachelor is, anyone would do so long as she gets her fifteen minutes.

Aw, prettyprincess, it was not my intention to insinuate that you were arguing when I quoted you. I thoroughly enjoy discussing this trainwreck of a show with you, and others.

The issue of it being a 'spoiler' seemed to be getting a bit debateful (again, not geared toward you) and I just wanted point out that show is the one to blame here...they are the ones responsible for airing the scene(s), with faces, during the normal broadcast hours; not GMA, blogs, or anyone on the Dis.

No worries! I love watching the show and being on this thread. You all are hilarious! It definitely makes it easier to stomach Ben as the bachelor.

I expect next season with Emily will be interesting. Between her prissiness, moneyed lifestyle from her almost-FIL, her tragic story of her lost love, drama with Brad - remember these guys will be her rebound relationship. Although, Brad was her rebound relationship from Ricky. . . and Emily even saying on the ATFR show how boring she on the show, this season should be a lot better than Ben.

Wouldn't it be funny if, instead of "Mask Man," the producers bring on "Homeless Guy," for her? When they show the banner with his name in it, during his interviews, they can't put down a state, since he's homeless and wanders around, and no occupation, since he has had no job in the last couple of years.

Emily has to keep him for a couple of episodes to not seem like a snob, even though she hopes he's been de-liced before the show.

But it is to them, so why spoil it for them? Why not just talk about that on the other thread and current shows on this thread? That way you get to discuss the GMA details without reavealing it to the people that don't want to know yet. Win/Win

Yes, my opinion of her has gone way up. She was a little too OCD about Courtney, whiny and insecure about Ben. But, in her interview, her observations are really astute and right on.

I liked Emily a lot too, she is probably the smartest bachelorette this season. Not such a remarkable feat given some of them though. But I enjoyed her interview too and was glad to see that she viewed things like we all did here on the thread.

I think it was just so ridiculous, the way Courtney was acting, that Emily didn't know how to handle it. I'm sure she's embarrassed by her behavior now that the season has aired. Not embarrassed by her calling out Courtney but by actually wanting Ben in the first place!
