Anyone watch Trading Spouses tonight?

DS and I watched this last night and LOVED IT!!! My thoughts:

The Japanese man and kids seemed so nice we just don't see how Tammy fits into that family and how he got her for a wife.

Tammy and her husband could treat Nana better.

I would love to live in Tammy's house! WOW!

I hope the Biggins children know other white women so they don't think they are all like Tammy! Oh my heavens! I loved that one boy telling her she looked like a movie star the day before and "is this how you really look?"

I agree with the poster that said Nana would rather keep the new "mom"!

I think Mr. Biggins should have fixed the chicken with the mushroom soup and tell Tammy "this is what we're having and if you don't like it fix something else."

The Biggins family has more to lose. If Tammy's family doesn't like how they have to spend the money they can still afford to buy the boat or whatever they want. I'll feel really bad for the Biggins if they have to spend their $50K on something stupid.

Can't wait to see what happens tonight!

I think it is unbelieveable how much of a dreamworld Tammy is living in. She just keeps talking about how well the Biggins kids respond to her and how she is so good with kids and how she is such a ray of sunshine to their lives. HELLO! Does she hear herself talking??? I wonder if she will see it differently when she sees the show.

I know! I was so excited! What did she say she was supposed to do with it? Buy a car and take a trip to Japan?? Did she leave anything for the rest of the family? My phone rang and I missed parts of it.

Nana gets the money to buy the car of her choice. Then the remainder is to take herself on a vacation to Japan.
Boy was Tammy pissed. I thought it was great. She is a horrible shrew of a woman, she treated those children and poor Anthony VERY badly. Her mistakes in grammar and syntax were glaring. If she has a college degree I will eat my shorts. The only bright spot regarding her was she allocated the Biggens money pretty close to what they were talking about, I admit that surprised me. But what a witch.

Tammy did it this way:

$20,000 to go towards the bills.

$22,000 for a downpayment on a house.

The remaining $8,000 was left and divide between the kids and Anthony for personal shopping...I think each kid got $500, I do remember it saying something about the girl having to get at least one spa treatment?

Not bad, and even better that the Biggins were happy with it.

I think Tammy did a good job at dividing the money and love the fact that nana got all the money. My husband kept saying Tammy is high maitnence. She truly believes everybody liked her. And her party was so boring and she thought it was great. Someone needs to slap her to reality.

I was so tickled that all the money went to Nana. That's exactly what should have happened. Who has their 72 year old mil living with them and has her work from dawn to dusk? I was just appalled with the way they treated her. And that snarky comment that Tammy made at the end that she was happy it went to Nana so Nana could pay taxes in her tax bracket instead of them paying it in their tax bracket.

I was also appalled with the way the dr treated Mela at the party. Why in the world didn't he do the polite thing and bring her out of the kitchen and introduce her and make her feel comfortable? I was so relieved when that party guest came in and insisted she come on out and sit down and have a drink. Bless that lady's heart for having some compassion.

I must admit that I was very impressed with the way Tammy divided the money after her behavior. She really put a lot of thought into what the family needed and did the right thing. I was irritated by the comment that she made saying, "Well, $50,000 is not a lot of money to you and me but to these people, it's a big deal." Huh? What planet are you living on, honey? $50,000 is a big deal to the majority of Americans, I think.

It really cracks DH up that I got so involved with this show because I usually hate the whole reality tv thing. I'm not sure why this one sucked me in but I did enjoy it!

That was just MEAN and spiteful! Only a sore loser would say something like that! I love how Nana got all the money for a car and then a family trip to Japan...that's awesome.

I can't believe that all Tammy's families parties have the guests bringing FOOD! My goodness, are they so cheap they can't even feed their own guests?! I would have guessed their parties are catered so Tammy could "show off".

I think Mela's party was much more successful than Tammy's. Tammy's guests were obviously not having a good time. I wonder what food she ended up serving. And that country music...... She need to learn the first "rule" of being a good hostess, serve food your guests LIKE and have entertainment your guests LIKE, not what *you* like!

And how about when she was watching the ball game on TV drinking a beer while the kids were WORKING!!

I am so happy Mela gave the money to Nana! You go girl!! Have a wonderful trip & zoom over to see Mela's family in your new red sports car!!

evidently she hasn't taken a good look at her son either....

I hope they do a 'where are they now' at the end of this...I wanna see Nana in her new car! hope she gets a GOOD car and not some POS just so her family can have the money...and, come to think of it...does Nana even DRIVE? let's hope so!

I have to give Tammy credit, as much as I disliked her spolied,pompous ways, she did divide the money in a way that really benefitted the family. As I was watching, I couldn't believe the inflated opinion she had of herself and her interactions with the family. Then , I really couldn't stand her at then end when she made the "tax bracket" comment. Loved Meila and Nana.

Oh! I could not STAND Tammy! She was so self- righteous! How she went on and on about how she brings postive things to the family and they can learn from her...when her own son said she does not spend much time with him...she was such a hypocrite!
I abolutely loved Nana and Mela!

As much as I disliked Tammy - I do have to give her credit on how she divided up the $50,000 for that family. They wanted to pay off their bills and now they will... she did the right thing there. I was worried what she would do!

That totally rocked that Nana got all the money! Mela was such a sweet woman and I really enjoyed her!

What an interesting show... I do not think I could do it! It would be hard for me to let another woman tell my DH and DD what to do!

I would be curious to see what the reactions of the families would be while they watched this show...wonder what Tammys family thought.

I agree, she acted so superior in the Biggins household and was so opposite..like the spending time with kids thing....

What I found interesting was she said her party at the Biggins household was just like hers at home....I was thinking to myself that maybe all the friends wanted to keep Melia too as they had a great time at the party.....if it was usually like the other party, this must have been quite refreshing!

Did you notice when Tammy was reading the note to the family, how she came to an abrupt halt when she noticed where the money was going...when she did that I figured it was going somewhere she was not happy with....too funny!

I agree, she did well for the Biggins family..I was actually shocked that she paid enough attention to know what they needed...although I guess she had enough time to sit around and think about it!!!

Would be curious to know Nana and Melia are still friends....Bet Nana would change moms in a minute.
