Anyone watch CBS News tonight?

There was a piece on a problem with the front ball joint on the Dodge Durango. Did anyone catch what year Durangos Dodge doesn't want to recall for this problem? DH has one and we want to make sure it's the safe vehicle that we've always thought it to be.

Oh, great! I have a 1999 Durango. I'm going to trade it at the end of May. Everyone send good vibes my way. It needs to hold together until then!!!!

We have a 99 Durango. My husband happened to have the car jacked up and noticed the wheels wobbling or something like that. We took it in and both ball joints on it were bad. Dodge said did not have any replacement parts for them. Apparently they haven't fixed the problem and didn't want to put a part back in with a known problem. Anyway, they approved an after market ball joint and actually paid for the part and for our mechanic (not Dodge dealership) to replace them. All in all I thought we got pretty good service.

I have heard talk of a class action lawsuit regarding this. I'll post anything here if I get any more information.
