HI, sorry if this isn't the right forum for this. Just wondering if anyone wanted to trade a Disneyland Birnbaum 2002 book for the DisneyWorld Birnbaum 2002. I accidently bought the Disneyland one today, I was so excited, until I got home and realized it wasn't DisneyWorld!!! I don't mind if the guide is not brand new. Send me a message if you want to!! Tonia

Where did you buy it? I have made the same mistake in buying books. I have never had a problem exchanging the book. I just explained that I bought the wrong book. One time I got home started reading it and realized I had already read it and forgot.

I bought it, and many other things today at the Disney Store. Unfortunately, it is a good 45 minutes away from my house, and I don't think they had any of the Disneyworld books left anyway. That is why I got such a good deal on it, LOL I could bring it back the next time I go out there and probably will if no one wants to trade, it is just so far!!!

Any other book stores closer to you...such as a Walden's, etc....they should have the book you are looking for and if not...they will be most happy to order it for you.....the DS would do the same if you place a call to them.....then...next time you are "in the neighborhood"...just return the book....

A thought anyway!!!

I used to work at barnes and noble and I bet they would even let you exchange the book there for the correct one. They have a very nice exchange policy. I have returned books there that I told them I KNEW were not purchased at a B&N as they were gifts form family and as long as they carry the book they will take it back.

Thanks guys. I guess I was so excited about the deal I got, only $5.99 - So I know I can't get the Disneyworld one for that price. I can bring it back and get one somewhere else, I would just need to pay full price. I wonder if Borders would take it back - I don't have a Barnes an Nobles around here either.

Try Borders! They're a pretty good store. If they take it back you'll probably get a gift card for a decent amount. it depends on their policy.

Actually you prob could find a Dw one for that amount. They are getting rid of the 2002 books to make room for the 2003 books.

Tonia,
I just thought of the perfect solution--since you have the Guide book for DL, you should plan a trip there, too (in addition to WDW) :) !

-DC :)

LOL thanks! That would be one expensive guide book! Once we get back from the world in Dec. I may be so bummed, I'll start planning that trip.:smooth:

You could also check your local library if you just want to read through it. My library has it.
