What's a holiday without family drama? My siblings just can't get altogether without starting something. I dread holidays with them for this very reason.

Anyone else have siblings like this or is it just me??

Me!! I opted out of the family Thanksgiving this year, because I wasn't up to putting up with all the drama. DH and I have had a lovely day!

I am blessed with brothers I can usually get along very well with. The only drama at our Thanksgiving gathering was DH's broken knee, and DD10's stomach virus.

you are blessed to have them, I am an only child and trust me it's not fun, my husband was an only child too. we have four kids of our own and 1 unoffical adopted one and I treasure ever time we get together, yes it seems ever time we get together someone is having a crisis or a drama occurs they think, but after seeing what each are dealing with they usually see thier problems could be worst. Plus my husbands parents died when he was young and I lost my dad and my mom is a snow bird from NOv 1st to March so she is gone alot. one day you will only have the "drama and memories" of your siblings to share. I hope you can find the fun in having siblings that are well and close by. one day you will to feel blessed to have them.

I hope you're right. My sisters infuriated me today and made my children cry. I cant imagine those being fond memories at any point. DH is an only child and counts himself lucky to not have siblings like mine.

I feel so bad for anyone who doesn't have great siblings. Mine are 10 and 12 yrs older than me, but we're very close and they are great. No one is perfect, but I couldn't ask for more supportive siblings.

I have two brothers. Just got back from my youngest brother's house for Thanksgiving. Never in a million years would I trade him in, he is the greatest. Now my other brother, that's a different story. I might lone him out for a long while since he can be so arguementive. I need a break from his argueing and criticizim.
