Anyone waitlisted for Jan???

Yesterday I called MS and booked a studio at SSR for 1/20-1/22, but am on the WL for BCV or BWV. Anyone else on the WL for late January? I won't mind if my WL doesn't come through, but I don't want to make my ADRs (i.e. DTD or BW) until I know where I'm staying.

I called just the other day to make ressies for late January and had my choice of resorts. We booked a 1 BR, though, and you are looking for a Studio, so that is the difference. I thought for sure that we would have a hard time, but the only thing we could not book was BWV Standard View (duh...as if that would be available 3 months out!) and BWV Boardwalk View. However, we had our choice of 1BRs in BWV (preferred), BCV, VWL, SSR and OKW.

A little over a week ago, I called MS and tried to book a 2 BR at BCV for 1/20-1/23. It wasn't available, so I waitlisted it and booked my second choice, SSR. MS called me this afternoon and told me the waitlist had come through, and asked if I wanted to switch my reservation to BCV. My answer:

I'm guessing the release of AP room-only codes today, and the rumored release of general public room-only codes tomorrow, has/will have a lot of people changing/canceling/updating reservations this week. So there may be a slightly higher than average amount of movement on the waitlist for the next day or so.

We are staying in a 2BR at VWL that weekend

We are staying at the BWV January 1-8 in a one bedroom. Right now we have every night but the 7th in a standard view, that night is in a preferred view. We have been on the wait list since July. We were originally on the WL for the nights of the 3rd, 5th, and 7th, now just waiting for the 7th! At least we have a room at the inn, even if we have to switch from standard to preferred for our last night.
