Anyone waiting for 2010???

Hello new 2010'ers!!!

I've just been looking at the pic thread for CSR - its made me soooo excited i want to now!!!

Okay...I was thinking about our dates for our trip, in 2010 Easter Sunday is on April 4th. We are now thinking of leaving on April 24th. Do you think most of the Spring Break crowds will be gone? Leaving on the 24th would shave a week off my countdown;) ;)

HI!

I am a newbie looking at early May, 2010. I will finish graduate school at the end of April after 4 long years and my sons will be 5 and 3 (almost6 and almost 4, just a month shy!) I told my husband I would rather go to Disney than graduation.

We also may make it an extended family trip, but I am making my plans and people can come, I am not turning this into a huge debate.

I think we'll stay at POP, because of the bus not stopping elsewhere, but if I get a bigger budget out of hubby, or a full-time post school job, I would probably stay at a mod for the extra room and cooler pools.

I am itching for the 2009 rates to come out, just so I can use them as an estimate for my 2010 trip, with a planned increase, of course.:)

Hummmm now this could make me change my mind about staying at CSR in 2010-

We went in April this year- around the 10th and we were just hitting the end of spring breaks then- you should be all clear by the third to last week of April, I would think.

Here's hoping for free dining to still be offered in 2010. This will be the only time of the year we will be able to get there so free dining would be a bonus!

:thumbsup2 Oh, that could be fun staying there ! :thumbsup2
Is it part of CBR ? Or it's own resort ?
I had read somewhere that WDW is opening a new restaurant in DTD area,
I think.
It sounds like Rain Forest Cafe, but with Dinosaur theme.
Hopefully the food is better than RFC. ;)
Can't wait to try it out in 2010 !!!!

Hi everyone!

We have just decided to change our trip from '09 to '10. I'm a little sad, but I think it's best for us (dd's will be 8 & 5 when we go).

We will be going in July, and probably stay at CSR. DH thinks we may be able to save up for deluxe, but I would rather stay 7 nights at a mod, than 5 at a deluxe. But you never know.......I change my mind often :rotfl: .

I guess I had better change my ticker................:rolleyes1

hi:wave2:

we're planning a trip for the beginning of december 2010. we've been to disney many times, but never durring christmas so planning for that time of year is new to me.

i have no idea about codes, i've never used them before. does that time of year book fast? how early can you book?

i feel like a newbie!:rotfl:

Just a quick hello to the board as I sit and day-dream about our next trip! Also wondering if any of you have been to DisneyLAND? We've never been and plan to stop there this April when we vacation to California. Any pointers out there for a little trip?

Can't wait til '10!!!:dance3:

We love Disneyland ! :goodvibes
I grew up going there, and try to get there every year !!!
You definately don't need as many days as WDW.
We usually do 3 full days, 2 for Disneyland and 1 for California Adventure.
For a fun eating experience, you may want to make ressies for
the Blue Bayou.
It's inside the Pirates of the Carribean ride, cool ambiance !!!!:cool1:
You may want to check out the Disneyland section, I'm sure lots
of info. !!!!
We usually stay at one of the hotels across the street, right off the
crosswalk on Harbor. Very easy walk !!!
Park Vue Inn, BW park place Inn, or Candy Cane Inn (a little further down,
but a great place with a fun pool and yummy cont. breakfast)
:goodvibes Have Fun !:goodvibes

i'm planning a trip for about 26 ppl for summer 2010.i am pushing for august but it also might be last week of June (ick)

can't wait but atleast we have our trip next week to do first.

omgosh first off all...add me to the 2010 list!   I KNEW there'd be other people here planning that far out - gotta love the DIS!

Second, I want to echo the Blue Bayou recommendation! I grew up going to DL also and always LOVED that restaurant and that part of the POTC ride...the atmosphere is lovely!

XOXO~
