Anyone wait till AFTER a refurb to buy?

Just wanting to time a purchase of another contract well. Does anyone who does a lot of contract buying wait till AFTER the dues jump hits on a resort to buy in (obviously a resale)? Or is that false economy?

Refurbs are paid for in advance and the projected costs are collected annually as a budgeted line item.

Since DVC has never had a special assessment, it doesn't come into play. IF DVC makes good sense otherwise, I wouldn't delay based on time of year or this issue if you can find the right contract at the right price otherwise.
