I'm thinking about painting my kitchen some sort of burnt orange. Does anyone have that color in their kitchen that wouldn't mind posting a pic??
I'd love to see it before I do it!! Thanks

I don't have a picture but my next door neighbor just painted her kitchen orange. More of a deep orange not so much burnt though. I know she has one full wall orange and I think the other walls are more neutral. Good luck :thumbsup2

I read the topic as "Anyone with an Orange Kitten." sorry. No my kitchen is Apartment White. And likely to stay that way.

My kitchen is a grasscloth green and my living room is a burnt orange that carries into part of the kitchen.

This picture is not of the actual kitchen area... but the same colors are in my lr, dr, hallway, fr, kitchen - very open floor plan, so they all kind of run together. Prior to this I did have brighter orange, and as much as I liked it at first... it grew old real quick!!

The color might not be as orangy as you are thinking - it's called Terraza Tan and the green is Crocodile Tears by Behr.

There was one on that show that is on Sunday evenings, the one with Ty. They did a burnt orange kitchen and it looked very nice. The kitchen seemed very open. I would think that you would need one like that to carry it off without the walls closing in on you. Unless you have a kitchen like mine that has very little wall space. Mine is a medium green with blonde cabinets.

LOL, that's how I read it too and I didn't open it the first time I saw it.

Thanks for the responses. I'm about 90% ready to go for it - but 10% chicken! I'm worried about the "getting old real quick.." aspect. It is a very open area, though - and there is a screen porch off the back, which also makes it seem bigger, b/c we often leave that door open. I love paint color, though. It makes such a dramatic difference.
