Planning a trip for the second week of November for an adults only - have any of you visited during this time before? Just wondering what it's like. Are any holiday decorations up? I assume that since the holiday parties in the MK have already started, I assume that MK will be decorated, right? Anything else I should know?

We often visit for a couple of days around Vetrans Day. Yes, the Cheistmas decorations have normally started (in MK and DHS) but only some are up and they seem to add more daily. When we visited in 2013 MK hadsome decorations but Epcot none at all.

Mid November is a nice time of year to visit.
We were there last year from the 8th until the 22nd of November & the MK was decorated for Christmas from when we got there & the other parks were done by the time we left.
Some but not all of the resorts were decorated by the time we left, the Grand Floridian was not done but the ginger bread house was complete, we'd been there in 2012 & flew back to the UK on Thanksgiving day & all of the parks & resorts were decorated by then.
You should also just catch the end of Food & Wine which is good fun & well worth a visit, we spent a nice afternoon wondering round the World Showcase sampling the food & beverage options.
Hopefully the Osborne Family lights will be up this year again at Hollywood Studios, they are spectacular & worth going to see.
You should also consider doing one of the Christmas parties at the MK, they seem to divide opinion on the boards especially when compared to the Halloween parties but we really enjoy them, we did two in 2012 & two again last year & will be going again on our next visit.
If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask on this thread or PM me.

November is our favorite time to visit for the Christmas festivities and great weather! Last year we were there Nov 12-18th and had a great time. A little crowded than normal, but nothing bad. MK was all done up and we love MVMCP. Epcot was decorated and the tree was up before the 16th... I don't remember seeing it on our arrival day, but walking to Norway for breakfast on the 16th it was up. The resorts gradually get decorated through the month. We went to GF for breakfast on the 13th and the gingerbread house was up and almost finished. It only rained once our whole trip on the last full day. Other than that, the weather was beautiful all week, and in 2013 we had gorgeous weather all week too! This year I will be there Nov 5-14th, and I cannot wait!

Wonderful time to visit. Great weather in the 70s (although last year had very cold mornings . . . remember to bring a sweater) and much less rain than earlier in the fall. Some Christmas decorations up in MK. Osborne Lights at HS. I think one of the very best times to go. Enjoy!
