Anyone Used MSY (new orleans) Airport Lately?

I was just curious if anyone had used MSY post Katrina and how the park lots where doing?

I also would like to know what it would cost me to leave my car there for a Saturday-Friday stay? I THINK they still have the Park n Fly and it's 48 weekely... but I"m not positive.... any disers out there know?

I know that the garages re-opened in early October, and that the airport is currently operating at 40% capacity, but I don't personally know anyone who has used the lots since the hurricane.

www.airportparkingreservations.com is taking ressies now for several privately-run lots, so it looks like parking is pretty much back to normal. That area never flooded, so it really doesn't surprise me. The only problem I could easily see is not having enough business or enough staff to run the places, but a lot of people who work around the airport live in the far western part of the city or on the west side of the Lake, where there wasn't flooding except from the rainfall.

Well, I will be finding out Jan. 26. We will be headed to Orlando. Hopefully, it will be the same as usual. We park in the long term parking garage usually and that costs about $10 a day. Here is hoping it is back up and running efficiently. Never had a problem in the past.
