Anyone used Hotelkingdom.com to book Vistana Resort?

We have decided that the Vistana Resort is the place for our December 2001 visit. The rates seemed reasonable at 166/night for a 2 bedroom unit. However, I have just come upon the hotelkingdom.com website and can get this room for 140/night. The savings would be around $200.00 - that would cover 1 of our airline tickets. Any comments on this service - good or bad?

We used Hotelkingdom.com to book part of our stay at the Vistana Resort in December. I was a bit nervous too, but it worked out fine. We didn't have any problems and we saved quite a bit of money. I think the only problem using this site may be if you had to cancel the reservation. I believe you may to to forfeit part of your deposit.

Good luck and enjoy your stay at the Vistana. It's a great resort which is very close to Disney. I highly recommend the resort!!! It's perfect for families!

We booked through them in October of 2000 and had no problems. We saved about $40.00 a night at the Vistana Villages. It was definitely worth it. The people at hotelkingdom.com were great. I was nervous about using them and I called a few times to confirm everything and they were always really helpful. If you have to cancel your reservation, as long as you give them at least 72 hours notice, you'll only lose $10.90. If you cancel with less than 72 hours notice, I'm pretty sure you lose 1 night's payment.

Thanks so much for your input. I am going to book through hotelkingdom.com and save my money. :) :) :) :)

I booked my February 2001 Vistana stay with Hotel Kingdom and it worked out fine. I booked in October of 2000. The AAA rate was $205 a night and we got the room at $165 a night from Hotel Kingdom. There was some confusion on the initial deposits. HK took their $10.00 a night for the 8 nights I was staying but then the Vistana took a full night deposit as well. I did not know about the additional Vistana deposit and they took the deposit at the $175 rate rather then the $165 which was the rate they agreed to with HK. I called and got everything confirmed in writing and it worked out fine in the end. I was also nervous that I would get a lesser quality room but we got a great room in the newest Cascades section of the resort (true, they did want to sell us a unit while we were there and they wouldn't put you in an older unit with that goal in mind). Don't forget to use the Diamond checkin service on the Vistana web site a week before you arrive. Have fun.
