I was thinking about signing up for this, but I was wondering if it was worth it? Has anyone found it useful/helpful?

Anyone have any other suggestions?

my daughter has the on line WW thingie.......and because of her time schedule and her two kids and hubbies time schedule .....this was the only way to get the info and food points and stuff........yes it is working and she can get on the scale at her work and compare notes with a few other of the teachers.......she teaches year round with a few weeks off in the summer

I use WW's online. I started right at the end of May, and so far I have lost 18 pounds. I have found all the info that I need, and if you have any questions you can e-mail WW's and they get right back to you. I weigh myself once a week and enter my weight into their system, and they keep track of everything. IMO it's a great way to go if you don't have time to go to the meetings. However I know that some people need to go to the meetings to keep them motivated. I would definitely recomend this to anyone! :teeth:

I think you made a good choice stacie. :teeth: I've been doing WW online for 18 months now. I've loved it all the weigh (<hehehe)! Even now, being on maintenance, I use it daily for journaling my food/points, and I plan the next day's meals as well. It helps me stick to plan when I have it in writing. ;) I also think it's much cheaper than the meetings. I didn't miss the meetings one bit either, because I had the WISH board!!!!!! :grouphug: Join the WW threads that you see here, we'd love to have you! :goodvibes

I have been doing the WW online for only about 3 weeks (well actually 2 since I was away on vacation last week and totally blew it :guilty: ). I find it very easy to use and I like the fact that so many foods you buy in the store can be researched by brand. It makes it easier when deciding a portion size. I also like that you can manipulate the amount you are eating and it automatically adjusts the points.

Although I haven't tried any of the recipes yet, it seems like there are many easy ones that even a pathetic cook like me could handle. :teeth:

I just joined the meetings part last week. I could not beleave how many points steak is. lol I prepaid my 10 weeks. Well hope all goes well for you. Mum of two pirates

HUGE tricks-of-the-trade you shared there, and I totally agree!! Makes a big difference!!! ;) Plan ahead, adjust and SEE the point differences, and decide how much you Really want before-hand! Love it! Great suggestion/advice! :sunny:

I've used WW online in the past. I really liked it and found the community boards to be very helpful and motivational. This time, I'm trying it on my own. It's fairly easy to calculate the points and I found someone with a great spreadsheet to share to track my meals. It's seems to be working out well. There are alot of great resources out there with food lists and points for restaurants. Dottie's weight loss zone is one of my favorites... www.dwlz.com. You can't go wrong with WW in my opinion. It teaches you how to make wise choices that don't limit you and make it feel like you're starving.

Good luck! Be sure to check on the message boards on the WW site. They really are inspirational!
