I hate it! Well, I guess I'm not being fair, but ugh . . I'm not into change . . .When I got to work this morning that is what they changed our system to . . .I can't download anything at all, no weatherbug or AIM, nothing . . .I'm surprised I could get on the web . . .I asked the computer tech to let me bypass AIM so I can install it so I can keep in touch with the kids and he said "can't download"

I'm ready to go home . . .:o

I use 2000 Professional at home. That can't be an OS issue. I'm guessing that when they changed operating systems they also implemented some other measures to restrict internet activity.

I have W2K at work here and I have weatherbug just fine. You'll probably just have to download it again. Can't say about the AIM, we're not allowed to have any IM at work.

Yeah, Websense is a pretty popular program that restricts access to all sorts of webpages companies may deem uneccesary or may hinder a worker from working. That's probably what's going on with your company.

An IT guy can override the webpage for you, but probably only if it pertains to work (like my company).

Sorry for the bad news :(
