Anyone use their 40% code over Xmas

Just wondering if anyone was able to use their code over the Xmas period. I used the 40% code last year from 19th to 27th at SSR and got the discount for the whole period. Total cost including DP was $2900 for a 1 Bed for 3 of us. They want over $7000 for the same period this year without the code. Noticed that they are charging for the individual nights whereas last year I got the value rate for the whole stay as I arrived on 19th. Will people really pay $600 a night to stay here? Hoping they wont so that they will offer some codes.Thanks

The flyer that we got for our 40% off code was good only during certain weeks of the year. For December it is good Dec. 7- Dec 17th. We booked a courtyard view room at WL from Dec. 7-13 for the 40% off.

I got my room extended one day past the date for the same price. Going to try to add another day!

Last year I was able to extend my dates through Christmas. That was if your date started within the offered dates....I got a $49 room rate for Movies for Dec 18th- Jan 1st. Don't think it can be done this year!

Thanks. It just seems crazy that not only can you not get the value rate for your whole trip (like I have done for the last 2 years) but if you are luckier enough to get a code, you cannot use it for the whole trip. When we were at SSR from 19th December last year, our block was practically empty until about 23rd. There is just no way I could pay $7000 for something I paid less than $3000 for a year earlier. I have Bonnet Creek booked from 6th to 17th so I guess I will just extend it to the whole trip if nothing comes up but keeping my fingers crossed in the meantime.

I'm pretty sure that the point behind the codes is to get people into the resorts (and the parks) during the slower times of year. That's why just about every school holiday is blacked out, and why Christmas isn't included.
