Is Epic locations giving the discount or has it been converted to a statement credit? Personally, I'd prefer the statement credit...

I don't know for sure because I don't yet have a card. Mobile order says it should be a statement credit at Epic, and I didnt see anything any Epic merch info so I suspect it's the same as other places and needs to be requested as a discount.

I prefer getting some immediate benefit of gift cards. I can't tell if statement credit and drink vouchers come only with express pass option or if also come with gift card option.

No Epic location to pickup, as far as we know now. I'm planning to apply day before trip and pickup at citywalk.

Yeah you log into your CC account and request a card - its a rigid plastic card sent in the mail

It's a real card and the Universal will run it as a Visa transaction. You can redeem in $25 increments which will leave you will some lingering reward points,

Since it is like a credit care, I was able to use my reward card to purchase the discounted AP Mardi Gras dining cards in March.

So, I received an email from Universal Rewards Visa. It does look like they are doing statement credits for Epic Universe mobile orders only. Hopefully it actually works. I'm not going until November so things might change before then.
