Anyone use the National Carlson code lately?

Has anyone used the Carlson code to rent from National Car Rental lately? I reserved a car using the code and the National website accepted it.

If you have used it, did they ask you for ID?

If I'm not mistaken this is the code that Mousesavers refers to here...

"Do not use Contract ID 6600330 anymore. For years this code worked to waive various fees on your rental, which could save you a lot. Now National has decided this was an error and is ADDING the fees to the rental, even if they don't appear on your confirmation. If you have a pending reservation using this number, I strongly recommend you cancel it and rebook with a different Contract ID, or you could have an unpleasant surprise!"

It's not the 6600330 code. Its another code that used to be on Mousesavers but is no longer there.

I'm trying to find out if National is aasking for special ID to use it

Not sure then... If it's any help, when I book my corporate travel we have a CarlsonWagonlit contract code, and they've never asked me for any type of ID.

Mary took it off of her site when she found out that it was intended for travel agent use only. I believe the code is 5760339 off the top of my head...... I used it for 3 cars in 2004, but have not used it since.... The priceless code (6600330) was great for a while, but no longer seems to be yielding great rates.... good luck.
