Hi all!

My DF and I are considering using the Napa Room for our wedding reception, but I was hoping to get a little more info before we made our final decision.

Anyone use this venue and have pics or comments about the room/menu/etc?
:)

Thank you! The menu options do sound good! I've been trying to find some pics online to get an idea of the room layout, but I haven't been able to find too many. My DF and I picked the room because we loved the view of the MK and wanted to watch Wishes at the reception, but we don't have much more info on it! lol

You have probably seen these pictures but I will post just in case.

We are having a lunch reception and booked without seeing in. We have since gone down and love it but we didn't take any pictures. It seems one wall is almost all windows and we were more focused on the view instead of the room. With only 20 or so guests it will be work fine for us.

Thank you so much for the pics! I feel better knowing that someone else booked the room without seeing it and ended up loving it. :)

We've booked the Napa Room for our wedding in August :goodvibes

We actually had Whitehall down as our venue until we had our site visit - when we went into Napa, we were just blown away at how close you can see MK, I just don't think that comes across in photos. We decided, (no offense to anyone who uses the ballrooms) that the ballrooms/whitehall could be in any hotel in the World, but you can only get the view from Napa in one place :thumbsup2

We're having the dinner menu, and I absolutely can't wait for our reception here!!

Thank you so much for the responses! I definitely think the Napa room is for us! After looking at the pictures of that view, I can't imagine having our wedding reception anywhere else! :goodvibes

It sounds like you guys are already pretty "sold" on the Napa Room, but in case you're interested, here are some of the photos from our December 8, 2009 reception:

For the Bride and Groom, they made us plates with all three entrees:

We asked the chef to serve Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars instead of the normal dessert on the menu. They're Brian's absolute favorite and a HUGE hit with our guests:

OMG! I knew it had a great view of MK but WOW! I think I am sold. Forget the ballroom, I want the Napa.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for the pics! They are stunning!
I just showed DF and we're both totally sold! :thumbsup2

Does anyone know what the max number of guests is for the Napa room? It looks beautiful in all the pics!

we also booked the napa room sight unseen. we had our site visit about two weeks later and after seeing it we knew we had made the right choice! our VR is in july and we are having 25 guests. I believe the number of guests is approx 40 ( four tables of ten). good luck....:goodvibes

Thanks so much for the info!

DF and I are really hoping to use California Grill for our reception, but we are having around 60 guests!:scared1:

Is there a larger room at CG?

We are hoping to have the Napa room for our evening reception, just a matter of seeing if we can afford it. I'm really hoping we will have the budget for it as my heart is set on it.
Andreah your photos are gorgeous, and made me even more positive that it's the perfect place :) I had a look at the rest of you photos and wondered if that was your own ipod player you used or one they supplied and what were the costs of it?

Thank you!

We brought our own iPod and iPod dock to play music. It was perfectly appropriate for the size of the room. However, you definitely want to find a guest who will be willing to operate it for you.

We had inquired about the cost of a better sound system. They quoted around $400, if I can recall, and our wedding planner actually advised against it due to the small size of the room. We had toasts and speeches with no microphone, and it was no problem.

My wife and I had our lunch reception at the Napa room, and we couldn't have asked for it to be any better. A few pics of the reception:

Which dock did you buy?
