Yesterday I had to throw out my old crockpot, just too small and I finally used it until it just doesn't want to work.

I moved up to a bit bigger size (I only cook for 2-so I don't need a huge one).

I've heard of the liners. Are they really any good? Do they make clean up easier? I know sometimes cleaning those crocks can be a chore, depending on what's been cooked in them.

:thumbsup2 Love them. I felt guilty about spending 50 cents/each until DD assured me that she thought it was worth it. :rotfl2: Yeah, like she spends much time scrubbing the crock pot.

Anyway, they really work. You lift out the bag when it is cool and empty of food. You have a ready-to-put-away crock pot.

Do not plan to lift out the bag of hot food and pour it into a serving dish. That could be dangerous. You need to serve right out of the crock pot or scoop everything up with a ladle.

I plan to buy extras in case they get discontinued.

Yes! A truely great invention! They are essentially the same as the the regular Reynolds cooking bags which work just as well in a crock pot.

Thanks. Good idea on getting extras. Since I only use it about once a week, those should last awhile.

Also thanks for the reminder on not pulling it out, I've been known to do stupid things.... :lmao:

OT-Murfreesboro is a beautiful place, I can't wait to move back to that area one day, I would probably end up in the Lebanon area.

I've used the Reynolds baking bags for years. Great for melted cheese for a taco bar. Just throw away the mess!!

WHOA! I was JUST talking about these to my co-workers this morning. I used my first crockpot bag last night!! They weren't cheap, but I loved using it. I hated the meal I made, but loved the liner!! :rotfl:

I, too, have been wondering about these. I think on my next trip to the grocery store I'll be picking some up.

Got my liners at Publix, not cheap by any means. 4 for $2.50! But they did have a display with a $1.00 off coupon. So I grabbed a couple boxes and a couple of coupons.

I have it going already, with meatballs. We are having meatball subs tonight!

These liners are the best thing ever invented. They also keep the juices around the meat better. Easy, easy, easy cleanup. I Love Them! Go buy them and forget about the cost, it pays in so many other ways.

:thumbsup2

ETA: I just reread my post, surely there's a tag there somewhere?

I love them, too!

Unfortunately on Easter, we punctured the bag while serving ham from the crockpot but even then the holes were small and I didn't have to truly scrub the pot like I Used to have to do.

I have yet to find them. I think I can find the cooking bags if they work as well...

I couldn't find them at Target yesterday, but remembered seeing them in the grocery store. They had a display, but the ones on the shelves were right next to the oven cooking bags (which by the way in my grocery store were about 50 cents cheaper and had 5 bags).

I love these! walmart carries them and they are cheaper there roughly $2. Cooking with a crockpot is my idea of cooking!

I agree that these are the best invention since the Crock Pot! Love them! Made beef stew the other night and no clean up at all!!!!! Awesome :thumbsup2

I LOVE these too! I absolutely love oatmeal that cooks overnight in the crockpot and is ready in the morning. It takes sooooo good. But the mess! I rarely made it because of the work in cleaning it up after. But with the liners, it is super easy! I can even take out the liner after breakfast, give it a quick rinse, pop in another and start dinner before I leave for school! Can you tell I love my crockpot? :goodvibes Before the liners, two meals in one day from the crockpot would have been impossible.

LOVE them....a friend gave me 4 to try and I used my last one :-((

Now I must go buy some...worth it at any cost!

Really, if you think about it...

How many 50 cent liners can you buy when you cook at home versus going out one night?

20? 30?

It's really a good deal.

Loved the easy clean up. Now thinking if I can get back from grocery earlier enough today, might cook in it again today!
