p.s., I did put all the music I chose on Limewire onto my windows media player but again, there was no connection showing how to direct it to the USB, the pc was recognising the USB was plugged in, but there was no 'click here to download' type button honestly - is it worth it?

If he lived nearer you Carol, he would take you up on your offer, he is a bit of a flirt.

When the MP3 player is plugged in, go to copy to CD or device. Place the songs into the right hand section of the screen. Click on the right hand side menu and then onto removable device. Then press the Copy button

And yes it is worth it, cause it's for Callum's Christmas and he will be well chuffed

ok, its still all greek to me, I have my 'library' stored in media player, when I click on portable device it gives me the same list but it doesn't detect the device at all! even if its plugged in prior to turning on! my pc detects the device as it gives me an 'uninstall usb' icon to click on to remove it, but media player doesn't know its there!

Once the pc has detected the removeable device, i.e. the MP3 player it should allow you to copy the tracks onto it. I've just tried it by using my Pendrive, also a removeable device and it was allowing me to copy the information on to it.
