Shut up!! SHUT UP!!!
Alright - I totally have to get this now. I keep wavering back and forth and backand forth.
YES LEGAL SEA - Thank you so much. Your reports made me read other reports and reviews too. WOuld you say the Njoy's are an 'okay' starter kit? I can get those this afternoon at my local Meijer's. Anything else I have to mail order.
How exciting is this, for smokers???![]()
I think the Njoy is excellent! Again, I have some small issue with smoke production consistency. However, now that I am 'refreshing' the Njoy filters with 'smoke juice' that issue is virtually dead in the water.
So: purchase the Njoy starter kit (along with some extra filters), and also order some juice (unless your store happily sells juice too). Keep those old Njoy filters and refresh with the juice.
Awesome - this is truly exciting. The hardest part of the 'habit' for me - it that puffing, blowing thing.
Have you 'smoked' any, anywhere where you normally can't smoke? Liiike - a mall, a restaurant, something like that? I'm curious as to the reactions.![]()
KEEP THOSE NJOY FILTERS!
On Monday I received my order of e-liquid smoke from Johnson's Creek Smoke Juice; I purchased the 'kit' ($29.99 plus shipping) which had 10 small bottles of different types of flavor, plus small eye-droppers and other items.
Anyway, I had kept all of my used Njoy filters. Hence I pulled them out, and dripped a couple of drops of flavor into the small cotton insert inside of each filter. Stuck the filter back on the battery/atomizer part and had wonderful tasting smoke!
Interestingly, I discovered a reason why some Njoy filters produced virtually no smoke from the git-go: the little cotton insert inside said filter was put in backwards. When you look down into the filter you should see the cotton (which is itself encased in a small plastic tube). If all you see is plastic, then shake out the little tube and turn it around.
Anyway, the Johnson Creek flavors are excellent. This morning with my coffee I had the "Hawaiian Kona Coffee" flavor. There were several other bottles of 'traditional' tobacco flavor, including an Artic Mist for menthol, plus other, more exotic flavors: vanilla, cherry, etc.
Once I have decided on which flavors I like best, I will go back to Johnson Creek (you can either buy off Amazon or from their own website) and purchase the one-ounce bottles ($19.99). Even these little 'sample' bottles hold enough liquid to last for several weeks (only use 3-4 drops at a time).
You also get much more consistent smoke with the e-liquid; I guess because it is so fresh and not dried out.
Unfortunately, you cannot use the e-liquid with Red Dragon, simply because its filters are 'closed' due to each filter having an atomizer.
I know there is at least one other brand of e-liquid nicotine out there, and I would be interested to hear if anyone has used it.

Got my Liquid smoke...and did excatly what you said. Can also save the little rubber filter stopper..and "pre load" the filters. I just bought the regular smoke flavor big bottle.
For me, I am trying to quit altogether...eve electronic smoking...so I dont want it too be too much of a 'good thing"
I am finding myself just taking a puff or two from the electronic cig...and I am fine for a hour or so.
STOP waivering.....IT REALLY TRULY WORKS. I even amazed myself...and that never happens.
An amazing product, to be sure. I have virtually quit all real cigarettes.
I just smoked at my desk at work. Most everyone in the office know about them. Also many have seen TV commercials for Electronic Cig in NJ. I havent seen the commercial.
And at home (no smoking in the house here) it is nice to have a puff while sitting on the couch watching TV & posting.
I just bought my sister a whole setup for her Bday.
The important thing with the e liquid: do not put too much in! There have been reports that if the e liquid spills onto the atomizer (by putting too much liquid in) it shorts out the atomizer (hence voiding the warranty). That is why I literally use just two or three drops at a time, which seems to work well.
I just read on another forum (dedicated to electronic cigarettes) of using a paperclip (unwound) to poke a little hole in the middle of the cotton filter, which improves the vapor production. I have yet to try (I am now satisfied with the smoke produced by the Njoy when I add some juice to it).
Want to get serious about electronic cigarettes?
Go here:

These guys (and girls) are very, very serious about 'vaping' (as they call it) electronic cigarettes. Indeed, I am still trying to figure out the 'lingo' they use (such as calling a real cigarette 'analog').
I registered, of course, under legalsea.
I also ordered a new 'pen style' e-cigarette. The pluses: longer battery and vapor life, and produces (they say) lots of vapor. I shall publish review and where I got once I receive it.
I think you have a new addiction!![]()

RE: NJOY Electronic Cigarettes
Dear Valued NJOY Customer,
First, we certainly appreciate your patronage and enthusiasm over the NJOY family of products. We have all been quite pleased with your overwhelming response to this product and recognize you as a very valued customer.
Unfortunately, we must apologize for our current inventory shortages which have resulted in extended delays in your continued purchases of NJOY products. We have recently experienced an interruption in our supply of NJOY Electronic Cigarettes, cartridges and related accessories as a result of the FDA claiming jurisdiction over the product. FDA has detained most shipments of electronic cigarettes and related accessories entering the U.S. for the past several weeks. Their assertion is that nicotine is a drug and the electronic cigarette is a device whose intended use is to deliver that drug. We do not agree with the position or actions of the FDA.
To defend our position of continuing to bring customer like you the first true innovation in a centuries old space, NJOY has enlisted a team of attorneys, scientists, lobbyists, and other experts whose belief is that the FDA has over stepped the bounds of their authority in this detainment action.
We encourage your help to ensure the survival of the e-cigarette as an alternative to traditional tobacco cigarettes that continue to kill 400,000 Americans each and every year. Below is a list of some things you can do to help the cause.
1) Write your Senators and other elected officials. Tell them about your experience with the electronic cigarette. Send it certified mail.
Sample text: "I am a loyal customer of the smoking alternative NJOY, and I have been informed that the FDA has taken the step to bar importation of more products at this time. I want you, as my elected representative/senator in Congress to help me continue to enjoy this product by asking the FDA to remove their detainment order from Customs."
Find out who is your Senator
Find out who is your Congressman
Write President Obama
2) Contact your local newspaper or other media, Tobacco Free Kids, American Lung Association, American Cancer Society and other public health organizations to inform them about your experience with the electronic cigarette.
At this moment, we do not know when shipments are expected to resume. We have supplies of certain replacement cartridges currently available for immediate delivery but those supplies are being rapidly depleted. Once this situation is resolved to our satisfaction, we will enthusiastically support your continued use and support of all the NJOY products and accessories.
We will continue to keep you informed as things develop.
Sincerely,
Mackinaw, LLC
Proud U.S. Distributor for NJOY
