I do find that the Njoy filters dry up rather fast. I orded the "liguid smoke"...gonna see how that works....Otherwise EVERYTHING Legalesa says is right on the money!!!

KEEP THOSE NJOY FILTERS!

On Monday I received my order of e-liquid smoke from Johnson's Creek Smoke Juice; I purchased the 'kit' ($29.99 plus shipping) which had 10 small bottles of different types of flavor, plus small eye-droppers and other items.

Anyway, I had kept all of my used Njoy filters. Hence I pulled them out, and dripped a couple of drops of flavor into the small cotton insert inside of each filter. Stuck the filter back on the battery/atomizer part and had wonderful tasting smoke!

Interestingly, I discovered a reason why some Njoy filters produced virtually no smoke from the git-go: the little cotton insert inside said filter was put in backwards. When you look down into the filter you should see the cotton (which is itself encased in a small plastic tube). If all you see is plastic, then shake out the little tube and turn it around.

Anyway, the Johnson Creek flavors are excellent. This morning with my coffee I had the "Hawaiian Kona Coffee" flavor. There were several other bottles of 'traditional' tobacco flavor, including an Artic Mist for menthol, plus other, more exotic flavors: vanilla, cherry, etc.

Once I have decided on which flavors I like best, I will go back to Johnson Creek (you can either buy off Amazon or from their own website) and purchase the one-ounce bottles ($19.99). Even these little 'sample' bottles hold enough liquid to last for several weeks (only use 3-4 drops at a time).

You also get much more consistent smoke with the e-liquid; I guess because it is so fresh and not dried out.

Unfortunately, you cannot use the e-liquid with Red Dragon, simply because its filters are 'closed' due to each filter having an atomizer.

I know there is at least one other brand of e-liquid nicotine out there, and I would be interested to hear if anyone has used it.

I think the Njoy is excellent! Again, I have some small issue with smoke production consistency. However, now that I am 'refreshing' the Njoy filters with 'smoke juice' that issue is virtually dead in the water.

So: purchase the Njoy starter kit (along with some extra filters), and also order some juice (unless your store happily sells juice too). Keep those old Njoy filters and refresh with the juice.

Yes indeed. A week ago we went to a Mexican restaurant and sat back in the bar to enjoy drinks (the whole restaurant is non-smoking). No problem whatsoever. I think the bartender and waiterss recognized that this was not a real cigarette.

I just smoked at my desk at work. Most everyone in the office know about them. Also many have seen TV commercials for Electronic Cig in NJ. I havent seen the commercial.

And at home (no smoking in the house here) it is nice to have a puff while sitting on the couch watching TV & posting.

I just bought my sister a whole setup for her Bday.

I just put one drop on.

What i did was put a drop on each 'used filter' & put the rubber stopper back in. Seems too be fine.
I noticed that one of my batteries dont last too long. I hvent been pying attention so I am not sure if it's me or them. we will see.
I am fine with the vapor production too, no need to poke holes.

I tend to agree with you!

I tend to throw myself headlong into any new enterprise or gadget. After a few weeks, after I have thoroughly learned what there is to learn about electronic cigarettes, I will level off.

Thankfully, I have smoked only one pack of real cigarettes in the past 7 days. Indeed, just three in last two days. These electronic cigarettes do make quitting the real thing easier.

I gave my brother-in-law a Red Dragon a week ago, and he is almost off regular cigarettes.

I like the 'e juice' that is used to 'recharge' an exhausted cartridge. Indeed, I discovered that I like the "cherry" flavor quite a bit.

I also discovered that the Red Dragon type of electronic cigarette may be recharged: with a toothpick, pry out the small cotton wad at the base of the filter (the part that goes into your mouth). You then drip one or two drops down into the wool (you will easily see what I mean), replace the small cotton part, then puff as normal.

Of course, these electronic cigarettes with the 'built in' atomizer (like Red Dragon) will not last forever, but it should give you another week or two of using a cartridge that would otherwise be thrown away. On the Njoy type of electronic cigarette, you drip into the wool that is in the cartridge: again, not too much, or it will burn out the atomizer.

One person noted (on that forum I linked to, above): if you feel the atomizer heating up, then note that it is very, very hot inside. Excessive heat will kill an atomizer. Allow at least 8 seconds between puffs (his words) and the atomizer will last a long time (again, this is for the type of electronic cigarettes that have the atomizer outside of the filter/cartridge).

BTW Since April 11, I have only smoked 4 packs of cigarettes.! These Electronic Cig REALLY REALLY REALLY work. And when I do smoke a real cigarette......I feel my chest weeze...and I never finish it.

Translation: They want to tax the living daylights out of it because the states rely on that revenue to finance everything but what they "claim" they use the taxes for..

They have no interest in smokers "health" - only how much money they can generate from the small number of people who still smoke..
