Has anyone used the Bronze Plan and if so, how well did it work for you? My DH is looking at the Silver plan but we have decided that it is not worth it for us as we usually only do 1 sit down meal per day due to budget. I do like the idea of paying for meals (at least 1 anyway) before we go. We are hoping to go next year for 2 weeks and my DSIL is joining us for 1 of those weeks. Hopefully, someone here has experience with the plan. I posted it here as it is not available to US citizens only Canada and Mexico. Thanks for any help you can give us!:D

What is the bronze plan?

The bronze plan is like the silver plan except that you only get 1 wish and not 2. It is a way to pre-pay for your meals, tours, golf, etc before you go. It is all part of the Dream Maker packages. The silver plan is $68 per person per day and I am assuming that the bronze is $34 per person per day, but not sure because I can't find pricing or specific info anywhere.

This a dream maker plan. Just like the Silver, Gold and Platnium, but you get just one wish per day. Therefore making the cost much cheaper. Works the same as other plans one wish per person per day. This would be great for a single parent. The cost is cheaper for the children's wishes the the adult ones. The parent would use the wishes and pay cash for all the child's meal. Once the wishes are on the room key, there is no way to distinguish which were adult or child. We have done this with the silver plan in the past. Worked out great, just tell the server at the beginning of the meal, who is on wishes and who is cash/room charge.

I know that in the past you could only book this with a canadian (mexican) travel agent, but that may have changed as more people book their own trips via Disney directly these days.

To add your son on the second week, you will need to have two reservations, making the UPH overlap. Maybe you will need to do three, the first 6 days on Bronze then one day room only, then the second week back on Bronze. We had to do something similar when we took our niece one year.
