I just got them today around noon. The eye doc did tell me that they were a tad bit thicker than the standard lens because they had more water content. Does it just take time to get used to? It seems that when I look at my laptop screen they get a little blurry. I can let them know how they are working out in 4-5 days and if it is the same, they will re-fit me in a different kind. I was just curious if anyone has experienced the same?

It is funny that you posted this. I just got these same contacts today at about 3 pm and thought the exact same thing! I have worn the original Acuvue for years, tried a few different kinds but always went back to Acuvue, but when I went today, he told me that this was the latest thing and that he wanted me to try them as he has heard that the original Acuvue will be a thing of the past with all the new breathable contacts that are coming into the market.

I am glad I read this because he also increased the strength of my prescription and I thought maybe that was wrong. I too, have to call in 5-7 days to let him know how they are working out and if I like them to order some new ones.

Lets keep our fingers crossed.
