Anyone use a tiny sewing machine?

You know the ones, like the Sewing Genie or others like it, that sell for about $39.99??? I just found one, Dressmaker I think, at Target, marked down to $7.48. I never sew anymore, but dd has 26 Brownie patches to be sewed on her vest, that I have been putting off all year. I have a nice Brother machine, but it's heavy and I hate to haul it upstairs just for the patches. I thought maybe this thing might work for that??? Then I can just keep it in my closet and sew them on as they come?? I'm sure it's junk, and wouldn't work for sewing something nice, but maybe it will suit my needs?
