Anyone use a Meal Voucher?

I was wondering whats the point of them. Ive read one meal voucher is about $11.50 and its good for a counter service lunch or dinner. If I am not mistaking this is about how much a Diiner/Lunch will cost me. So whats the special part of the voucher?

I used the Q&C vouchers at Beaches and Cream and the Tangerine Cafe and split the meals with DBF. They are a great savings here. When I used the voucher at Pecos Bill, I think I only saved a couple of cents.
