Anyone use a limo service to YHZ?

It looks like park and fly will cost about $150 for two weeks. I wonder if we could do a car for the same or less? Anyone?

A simple cab is 63 or higher from Halifax one way - With a tip it gets higher. Have you priced out your park n fly and had a discount applied? They do give government CAA and military discounts. I'm paying 130 for a 13 night trip now.

Thanks Ted, that's about what I was seeing too. I think it's pretty much a wash for us either way, so for once we're booking a ride. That should save us 15-20 mins at the airport (which matters at 5 am). I think I figured out why...dh has a new car and he doesn't want to leave it in the garage for two weeks. Normally he's all about the park and fly, but this time his car is staying in the driveway. (My car is having a vacation at the body shop--I mean *car spa* while we're away.)

OMG Ted I JUST figured out that you ARE there, now. I skimmed over that, thought you meant you now had secured a rate of... 3 trips in 2013? Wow. I hope you're having a great time. WIll be interested in your "how we survived the heat" stories, as we Haligonians sure aren't acclimatized to anything like summer this year.

I'm actually Sitting in my room in the animal kingdom now. I have my chair half was between my air conditioned room and my balcony ... Feeling the cold air come over my back. It is hot here. I've managed 3 weeks in February and march and another two weeks in July with two more in December. Getting my money's worth of my Annual pass. Not sure where I will stay in December ... Always depends on what deals are available. Right now I have an Arusha bunk room with a 2nd floor view of the Savannah. I booked a standard for my room and one for my mom all with the AP discount, but we were upgraded foe our two weeks. Not bad.

I usually use a town car service going to the airport (which is several times per month). The cost recently went up to 60. Plus a tip of course. It is so convenient and you can use the same service car to drive you home. It's worth the price for the convenience and no hassle of the drive home.

The last time I used ParknFly in Ottawa,I went online and found a printable coupon that we used.We were gone for 11 days and it cost 97 bucks ,if I remember correctly.
