Considering getting a card, they are offering 0% interest, ot sure for how long. We are doing a short trip, 3 days and have air covered..paying for it now is a bit hard for us, by my husband is due for a new raise in the fall. So..thinking should we use a card and pay monthly til we get the cash in hand? Any downside to this? It's not a ton of money, 3 nights at value resort, a total of 5 adult ticket days and 3 kid days (1 kid).

If you have booked through WDW travel company it is 0% for 6 months. I've had mine for years and this is the rule the whole time. Thy being said you don't have to put the whole balance on your card at the same time you. Can make payments to Disney with the credit card and then make actual payments to Chase.

I usually put something on the Disney CC, but in recent years have not been able to pay it off in the 6 month "grace" period, and since I have cards with lower rates, I usually will leverage the Visa Discount code and pay the balance off before we leave in cash or use another card.

There are a few additional perks. You would need to check the Chase Visa site to see what is currently availalbe.:cool1:
