Anyone use a Baby Trend double jogging stroller on the buses?

Ahhh, the great stroller debate. I have been reading tons of different point-of-views on doubles vs. 2 singles vs. renting, yadda yadda yadda. But I haven't seen much on the brand/type of doubles, specifically double joggers (other than City Minis and BOBs). I have a Baby Trend double jogging stroller (the kind with 3 bike-type wheels, front wheel swivels/locks), and am contemplating taking it, but I am afraid it will be too bulky to take on a bus.

Some specifics: There will be 2 kids (ages 2 &4), and 6 adults (1 will be in an ECV).

I've decided not to rent, so I'm basically down to taking 2 single umbrellas (not the cheapie kind) or 1 side-by-side double jogger (which is a dream to push compared to 2 singles).

Thoughts/comments/advice? Specifically, has anyone ever taken their Baby Trend double jogger and had no problems? Thanks in advance for any help/comments! :listen:

not familiar with the exact model, but lots of bus experience tells me anything that's double with a big middle wheel is absolutely awful to fold and drag on a crowded bus. If I had 2 little kids, I'd bring 2 little strollers.... I have seen the agony young families go through trying to manage those monster strollers on buses....no fun for anyone on that bus.

We have a baby trend jogger and think it is way too heavy to lug around Disney. If you are taking the bus system they are even worse to fold and carry around. We purchased a dream on me twin umbrella stroller and it was great! It held up to a 14 day Disney trip, including the flights to and from. Light, easy to fold, and seats recline some. The only pitfall is the shade in lips on the sides when folded. We didn't use the front bar, but that would need to be removed before folding if you used it. PS our kids are 5 & 2.

Is it not too large to bring into the parks? Disney does not allow strollers larger than 36x52.

Yes and I didn't like it. I usually do a City Mini Double and I found the BabyTrend to be a pain. We have done two singles and it was good too but we had 5 adults on the trip so pretty much someone always available to help with the stroller carrying.
