Anyone use 2008 DDP and DDE together?

Hi,
In the past I have used DDP and DDE together....DDE to cover drinks.

Now I can also use DDE for appetizer and drinks.

Anyone do this since the changes.....any problems?

I have used the previous DDP with the DDE card for drinks and OOP meals (like my Cobb Salad lunch at the Brown Derby). Be aware that they used to include an automatic 18% gratuity on all DDE purchases in conjunction with the DDP. That may change with the 2008 DDP plan which no longer includes tips.

thats true....

My bill will be so confusing....DDP for food...no tips....
drinks and app with DDE card...tips included(new DDE changes)

I will have to figure out the difference of my stuff that is tipped already

A couple servers (including the Brown Derby one) did something really confusing. They calculated the bill using an 18% gratuity and then subtracted the 2007 DDP from the bill leaving an amount which didn't show a specific tip, but included a hidden tip. It was very confusing! Especially after a martini and a glass of wine . This was just last week but I think that it will be easier with the 2008 DDP plan.
