At our 60 day booking of FP+ we got an option which supposedly included A&E for all of us. When I clicked to take that option and it confirmed the FP+, it had DD going alone to see A&E between 2-3, and had switched DH and I to going to see Mickey at 5:00. Why it didn't put us all together swaped out, or tell me before setting them it wasn't going to be what it showed, I have no clue.
(Have I mentioned I hate FP+ )
After many attempts, I was unable to get DH and I to any time that overlapped DD's time at all. I was however able to get me for 20 minutes later, and DH for 40 minutes later- so our 2 overlap.
My thought was I will give DH, DD's MB and have him enter the FP+ line at 2:59. He can then just find a spot a little way up and let people pass him in line until DD and I can enter the line which should be 35 minutes later (I've heard the FP+ will let you in 5 minutes early). We would not try to push ahead of anyone- we would just stand in line until we got to where he was waiting.
Anyone try this? I know we have let people pass us in line for things before without issue. One time when DD was 2 she fell asleep after waiting over 30 minutes for Peter Pan. It was right as we were getting to the very front and there was a little cubby there where DH would sit on the ground with her, so we just let people pass us until she woke up which was about 20 minutes later. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for A&E or why a CM would make DH leave the line, but if anyone has done it, I would like to hear how it went.

This is no longer an issue. I have kept the FP+ change page up on my computer at work for days and clicked on modify time at least once every 20 minutes all day long (and then I keep checking several times in the evening) and it paid off! I've had a time or two pop up that was nowhere near ours, but today a time popped up for DD to change to that matched mine exactly! So now while 1 is still staggered the time overlaps.
