Anyone travel without there spouse?

Yeah, a girlfriend of mine and I are taking the kids for presidents weekend. We're really excited!!

My DH insists I try to take a "me trip" once a year. He travels frequently for business, so I am home a lot with the 2 kids(though they are 11/16 there is a lot of running around)plus toss my non-driving sister in the mix, common known to most people who know me as my "3rd child".

I did the NCL Epic cruise right after Thanksgiving in one of their studio cabins. Had a blast, met one of my buddies from TUG in Miami before my cruise.

I did a solo WDW trip back in 2009 for F&W, had the AP and a few banked points that we didn't have plans for. It was great, went to the GF and did the full blown tea, rode the rides I wanted, walked around and just enjoyed the parks.

My husband thinks it is a good thing for my sanity to get away from the gang once a year.
