Anyone travel WITH PopWarner, newbie has some ??

TIA for any help, our cheer coaches have had ZERO information so they are no help for a planner like me and I have a few questions for those of you in the know.

1. Can I check in before PopWarner week starts? Our coaches said they have to meet everyone at the hotel to give them keys/tickets, etc but i would like to fly in a few days ahead of time to extend the vacation. Is that possible?
2. Is the demands of the cheer practice/competition take up most of the 2 days we have to be there or realistically, are we going to have time to do family stuff those days as well.

It is driving me crazy that we will not know until 11/9 if we are going, $$ due 11/15 and travel 12/7ish....I am usually planning for MONTHS ahead!

If you want to go earlier than the block booking your Pop Warner team you will need to book it on your own, check out the day the Pop Warner block booking begins, meet your coach, and get the keys to your new room.

We are AllStars but if your coach requires all girls to stay for the entire competition, it will leave little park time.
