Just got back 2hrs ago and there were 4 of us and no stomach bugs but DH and cousins hubby came back with sinus problems due to the weather change.
I have auto-immune disease and so far feel good.

Oh, man! I never made the connection! We returned this past weekend, and my daughter threw up most of Thursday into Friday. She could have picked it up anyway, but that is weird that several families have gotten it there.

I was there from the 6th through the 16th, and did not have any stomach issues myself, and I didn't see anyone else with issues either (unlike the big norovirus outbreak about three years ago, when people were just spontaneously erupting everywhere ).

Just make sure you wash your hands frequently, and don't touch your face at all. I carry the individual Wet Ones towelettes with me, and always use one right before eating or drinking anything (meals, snacks, beverages, whatever). I haven't had any issues since I started doing that.

We were there a month ago and my son vomited 6 days after we were there. Thank goodness no one else in our family got it. My children have also vomited while we were there on 2 other occassions (at least 5 days into the trip). So our record is 3 vomiting episodes out of 6 trips. Getting the vomits at disney is common IMO. I also know a family that got back in Oct. of this year and they all got the vomits, including the in-laws that went with them. Just wash your hands(especially before you eat) and don't touch your face and it will help decrease your chances. Everyone on here wants to say, they caught it in the plane, before they got down there etc. but I know alot of people who have gotten sick from disney. Wish disney would put some sanitizer posts near their rides, like they do in hospitals but I guess they wouldn't "look good".

I was there Nov 26th-Dec 4th and for a change did not come home sick. I go to WDW several times a year and am one of those people who catch everything, so usually comes home sick. This trip I didn't for a change.

If so, are or we're you sick with the stomach bug?

We know four separate families who just returned all with kids who got it while there or within a week of returning.

We are going in 3 weeks and I am so scared now.

Please tell me this is just a coincidence!?!?

We just got back 2 weeks ago and yes all four of us had belly yuck. It could be a ton of different things and not necessarily a virus. If your not used to eating alot of restaurant food or fast food your going to be a little off. Take some belly medicine with you and enjoy your trip.

I have a friend there now and 3 of their 4 have been vomiting. We leave on Sunday and I HATE throwing up and cleaning it up which usually makes me throw up. I sure hope we don't get it.

We just got back on Sunday. We didn't get sick at all and neither did the other couple we were there with. I did hear a lot of kids sniffling and coughing on the buses though, but it is that time of year.
