I was just curious if they started putting up Christmas decorations around DL or DCA. Can't wait!

I was there last weekend and they'd already gotten rid of most (all?) of their Halloween merch and started stocking Christmas stuff. I'll be there again on Sunday and let you know. I suspect that they have, though.

Nov 10th is the first day of the holiday schedule, etc so I wouldn't expect for it to be completely decorated until then.

I've got some friends there now, and they've been posting some pics. The railroad station already has garland and ornaments hanging from the roof, and there's red vegetation near the Mickey Head topiary. That's all I've seen so far, but it's a good start.

I was there last night. There's already quite a bit of Xmas decorations already up. They had just completed adding the snow to the castle during my BSM ABD trip.

Here now. The last few days they have added more and more Holiday decorations to the parks. The garland is up on main street and there's a wreath on the Castle. Lots of Christmas all through the lands, trees in City Hall, Market House, and Carthay Circle. It's funny because it was 85 degrees today and doesn't feel like Christmas!

Really? Garland over Main Street? How odd. I thought they wouldn't have that because of Paint the Night. :scratchin

I went last week before Halloween and there were already Christmas decorations up in Cars Land; garland at Cozy Cone, like fixtures on the street lights, etc. I'm sure there a lot more now, they have 7 days till Holiday Season starts.

Overnight they put up the garlands/decorations in carsland, with tires as wreaths, and air filters with lights as a type of garland, that hangs over the road. Every night more and more is put up. I don't know if it was last night or the night before, but the santa hat is now on IASW.

We were there on Wednesday and the Halloween decorations were all gone and a few Christmas decorations were out.

Well DUH me.

Thanks for helping me make sense of it!
LOL, I think when we're wishing for something to come back so badly it's easy to read into things that aren't there. Let's hope that someday they find a way to make the garland over MAin St. work with PtN. Can'tDisney invent retractable garland or something like that?!

One would think! I mean, Fairy Godmother can turn a pumpkin into a coach. Retractable garland should be a gimme. :wizard:

Here now. There are a few Xmas decorations, but overall it's hard to tell that Christmas is coming at DL :-).

OK -- I take that back. From the head of Main Street, a number of garlands and the like are visible along the street. And here's a pic of the castle. It looks very festive :-).
