Anyone there now? Please answer a couple ???

Hi all,

I was wondering if I could get a couple of ? asked before we leave in 7 days.

1. Weather during day vs. night. Cool enough for something other than a sweater or lightweight sweatshirt?

2. How are the decorations going? Is the Castle done in lights? Unfortunatly there are no MMVMCP during the week that we are there. I guess with the Thanksgiving crowd they have a hard time closing it down for the party.

3. Much swimming going on? We are at at the BC and our kids are really looking forward to SAB. Hopefully it wont be too cold

4. Are the resorts already decorating?

Hi, I'm visiting now but have to leave tomorrow. :-( So far the weather has been lovely--a sweater/sweatshirt in the evening is sufficient. However, there is a cold front moving in at the end of the week and they're saying over night lows could be in the 40's.

Yes, the MK is totally decorated. The Castle is covered with lights--all white. It's gorgeous--looks like it's covered with icicles! There is a special little 'show' each day at about 5:40pm with Cinderella, Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother etc--and they 'light the Castle' during the program. MGM Studios also is decorated--and the Osborne Lights display was scheduled to open yesterday. I haven't been to AK or Epcot this week--so I don't know about the decorating progress there--but the AK Christmas Parade was supposed to start yesterday, so I assume the decorations are up there. Too bad about the MVMCP situation. I went to the first one last night. Had never gone before. It was really nice. The parade has been redone--new music, choregraphy etc. It's now called 'Once Upon a Christmastime Parade'. all the usual characters are still there--the reindeer, the toy soldiers, the Princesses and, of course, Santa!

I'm actually staying with my daughter this week instead of at a resort--so I'm not sure about the Christmas decorations in the hotels. While riding the monorail today, I did see people swimming in the Grand Floridian pool.
