My next door nieghbors returned a few days ago and said that they were disappointed. They are Disney regulars and reported that crowds seemed much heavier this year than in years past.

Jim (my nieghbor) said that he asked around and many people were there because they were displaced from Wilma.

How are the crowds now? We are leaving the 26th with first-timers and are hoping for low crowds!

DH and I were there in September....we drove down and through Ophelia and crowds were low...it was GREAT! :Pinkbounc

DD and I went to Epcot Friday night. The crowds were light and the lines not bad at all.

We were there October 25-30. The crowds were very low during the week. We walked onto every ride, even during EMH at MK and also during MNSSHP on 10/27. However, once the weekend hit, it was packed! It felt like summer crowds. Epcot was crazy, but that was because of the Food and Wine festival. We did meet several families who had left home because of Wilma. It seems like that wouldn't have too much of an effect by the end of this month. Good luck, and have a blast!

We just got back yesterday--visited the parks Friday and Saturday. Went to MK, Epcot, and MGM on Friday, and MGM and Epcot on Saturday. None of the parks were that that busy except Epcot on Saturday (Friday was fine). Of course, I would never venture over to MK on a Saturday but on Friday it wasn't too bad!

I just got back from a weekend trip.
It was a little heavy but with planning we did everything we wanted except for Peter Pan.
I think the longest we waited in line was maybe 10 mins and that was for Space Mountain and that was yesterday morning. The reason for the hold up was only the right hand side was running.

Have to remember it is Food and Wine Festival. It is going to be more crowded. Also, didn't Jersey week just occur or getting ready to?

It really wasnt bad at all.

Jeff

The locals come in on the weekends to attend the Food & Wine festival and visit the parks, which are popular this time of year.

Thanks for the info. We don't plan on going to any parks on Sat the 26th; our first park day will be Sunday. I'm bracing for the remnants of Thanksgiving crowds, and hoping for a quiet week afterward.

We just got back. Last week we were at MGM and Epcot on Monday, MK and Epcot on Tuesday and a part of our group were at AK on Thursday. Almost Everything at MGM was a walk on, MK was about the same, Epcot wasn't crowded. AK was crowded. The first ever time at Disneyquest and wow was it worth it! DH, DD11, DS14 and I spent 11 hours there. It would not have been as much fun if it was crowded. Have fun!
