Anyone taking Amtrak... possible shutdown?

Just read an article about Amtrak threatening to shutdown next week if the Bush administration does not come through with a $200 million loan guarantee.

The report on CBS this morning was not very encouraging! I hope that the threats are political leverage but... I guess we'll find out this week! At least I'll have some time to come up with another plan. I hope the reimbursment would be quick if the worst happens.
