Anyone staying at DVC resort and booking Bounceback for next year

I called DVC and they said I can be staying on pts at a DVC resort during the bounceback promotion and book for next year staying in a non DVC resort and get free dining.

I was planing on a one night trip next week at a value resort but would rather stay on points at DVC, I just want the right info before booking.

Has anyone done this or was I giving bad information?

We recived the bounceback offer for next year, but we would have to have a cash ressie and I'm not sure that I want to do that.

It might not be a bad idea because we are thinking of taking a lot of family next year (so one ressie with FD for us and the DVC ressies for them) but I still haven't made up my mind. :confuse

Bounce back offers are only available to individuals who vacationed utilizing one of Disney's special cash promos, pay for 4 stay for 7 type of deals. The bouce back offer gives you the same future opportunity at special rates.

It is not available to DVC guests staying on points. At least I've never seen a bounce back offer in any of the resorts I've stayed other than POP.

Bounceback offers are given if you book your next vacation (on cash) while you are staying at a Disney resort, usually including a DVC Resort on points.

Apparently the current bounceback is for free DDP on a cash reservation before those free dining dates are released to the general public...or if the get enough bouncebacks, they may not be released to the general public.

I have seen the signs (offer) in a two bedroom when staying in September going back a few years.
I think Disney would be happy to take your cash and have you come back another time using points --same year would be ideal

Taking cash meaning Cold hard Cash / Check / Debit Card or meaning I can put it on My Credit Card as long as I pay for all of it up front?

Also, Do You happen to know if this applies to AP Holders ? or do You have to book the Tickets as well? Because all of the current offers only apply if You book room-tickets- and DDP all together.

Any in sight would be greatly appreciated! We're coming down for the first of three scheduled trips in December and I would love to book on a BounceBack for some other trips next year -- However, I'm an Annual Passholder ... Don't know if that would work or not!

The bounce back free DDP offer is basically the same as the other free DDP offers...full price cash room, at least a one day ticket required. You just get to book them farther out, or during special, non-public offer dates.
