We have just booked 9672 (extended balcony!) and would love to see photos of the room and the balcony.....has anyone stayed in this room?
Thanks so much!

We were in 9172 in September....same room, opposite side and possibly flipped (bed to the right)

Thank you so much! Looking forward to the extra space on the balcony! Did you like the location?

I love the aft, always. I wasn't quite prepared for the long walk back to the room after the shows or when coming back from port, though. It felt like the never-ending hallway. ;)
Otherwise, no complaints at all.

We stayed in 9672 last March. The room was great. We loved the larger balcony. The You Tube video the other poster mentioned is...

The only caveats are the long walks to get to the room, and the bouncing mini-golf balls that were coming over the stern at all hours.

When we cruised, we did not have the lounger on the balcony though. That would have been nice.

:)Thanks, for the photos. We have 9174 & 9176 anyone have any photos to share of these two rooms? TIA!!:)

Golf balls? I have a feeling my twins will enjoy watching those golf balls go flying by when we are in our aft deck nine room on the Fantasy. Maybe we'll even make a game of it and count them as they whizz by! :)

Those rooms will be identical to the one I posted, except that the balcony won't be quite as long.

Didn't see any whizzing golf balls on our trip. :confused3

@justmestace: Do you remember if you balcony opens up on both sides? It looks like it does in your balcony photos. Kritter has 9174 and 9176 and my family will be right next to her in 9674.

Also, between 9176 and my 9674 room is some sort of grey stripe in the ship diagram. Do you know anything about that? We're wondering if our balconies will connect too but not sure because of that grey stripe -- it is the same grey stripe going down on all the aft decks in this spot. Also, do you remember what was going on with the grey area outside of your room? Is that area a crew place to store cleaning carts (the smaller area) or luggage (the huge area of grey on the other side of the 2 inside staterooms)?

Thanks for any insights!

Wow. It looks like the verandah opens up on both sides. Those are some nice balconies! Thanks for sharing this link!

I think the gray "stripe" area in the far aft might just be where they have extra support beams. The rooms between that area don't connect, but I think someone posted that the balconies still do.

As for the gray area in the hall, I never noticed a utility closet out there, never saw anyone opening it, or carts there. It must not have been a problem for us, since we never paid any attention to it. BUT...we were more to the side of it, not right in front of it, and I didn't walk over there, so I couldn't really say for sure.
