We re considering this and wondered if anyone who has ever stayed in one of these units would care to share?

Thanks.

We have stayed 1st floor with a Standard View near the quiet pool... It was probabily the second best room we ever had... :teeth:

We loved being able to walk out of the room and being near the pool and Community Hall... Plus, the walk to MGM was great, and didn't have to go up or down the elevator to get to the Boardwalk.

I once got "upgraded" from a standard view to a preferred view and ended up with a first floor room by the quiet pool. The location was great, very close to MGM. I personally don't like first floor rooms. I did not like the patio. Much prefer a top floor with a balcony. I thought there was no privacy in my first floor room.

However, if that is what you like, then yes. It was a very convenient location.

Twice we lucked out and had a room like this - it was great!

We loved walking out the sliding door, walking through the bushes and using the hot tub late at night!

We always had the pool to ourselves later in the evening...and it was wonderful.

Never stayed there but like the idea. I can't believe you can get a "standard" there.

The one time we stayed at BWV the kids walked by the theme pool and went to the quiet pool every time but the first day. The slide gets old and so do the crowds.

I was also surprised that one could get a standard by the quiet pool. Perhaps mbhoxie could share more?

Unless I'm mistaken, standard views are 'near' the quiet pool but not facing the quiet pool. All of the pool/garden views are preferred. Our last visit we had a std view across the hall from the quiet pool. It was a great locale near the pool, bus stop, and MGM walkway.
