Just wondering if the WL has any special Halloween week activities and does the resort decorate?
I am taking my daughter for a surprise 13th birthday trip. Her birthday is the day before Halloween.
Thanks!:D

The resorts don'
t really decorate and niether do the parks for the most part. There is something called Mickey's Not So Scarey HAlloween Party that is held in MK. This is a party you pay extra to get into, but there is trick or treating, special eeerie decorations and a special halloween parade in which the headless horseman rides! Tickets run about $30.00 for adults. The park is closed to the general public- only those with the ticket can get in. If you are looking at going during the week of halloween, get your tickets early they sell out fast for that week. The party is not every day of the week,
and starts at about 7 and goes to midnight. However, last hyear I was able to get into the party at 4pm with only the party ticket- no PH needed.

We will be staying at the WL for Halloween this Fall. From what I have read so far, they don't do much at the resort. We plan on doing MNSSHP at the MK early that week and on Halloween night we will probably go to the Boardwalk, I've read that they have TOT there for the kids. MK is packed on Halloween night so I am avoiding the park that night.

We've stayed at the Wilderness Lodge during Halloween. Honestly, it's no different than any other day. In fact, WDW does very little at Halloween. They have the MNSSHP, but that's about it. We though that they do something with the Tower of Terror, but we rode it on Halloween and there was nothing different. :)

I wonder why they don't play up Halloween more?
My baby is a Halloween baby and we are planning on going to Disney to celbrate her second birthday. We are definitely doing the MNSSHP but have yet to decide which resort to stay in......I wish they did more for Halloween...it is such an awesome holiday!

When I took my daughter for her 10th birthday (day BEFORE Halloween), we stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. They had a whole list of kids activities planned for Halloween including pumkin carving!
We skipped it to go to the MNSSHP but that was still a cool thing. I was hoping that WL did the same.
By the way, we REALLY enjoyed the MNSSHP. It was great.
Have a great time!:wave2:

Didnt WL do 'Haunted hay rides' last Halloween? or is that Fort Wilderness?Basically its a ride on a carriage through the woods is'nt it?

I thought Fort Wilderness did halloween activities like ghost stories round the fire etc. If you stay @ WL im sure you can take part in some of these.

hope this help
