Anyone stayed at the Ron Jon Hotel in Cocoa Beach?

We are planning on a family vacation to Florida again this summer. I'm just starting to look and would like to stay by the ocean a few days and then in the orlando area a few days. I found a web site that talks about Ron Jon Caribe in Cocoa Beach and it looks awesome for a group of 6 to stay at. Just wondering if anyone has stayed there and can give me a review on it. Also, looking to try a suite type hotel in the Orlando area - but not Nick Hotel. We've done that and would like to try something else. Looking for a little bit more laid back vacation this time around. Thanks in advance for any advice you may be able to give me.

We stayed at Ron Jon last June just for a night prior to our cruise on the Magic. The pool area is very nice with the water slide and lazy river. We ate in the restaurant on the premises and the food was tasty. It didn't look like there was much else to do in the area, but then again, we were only there a day. Enjoy the planning

I have stayed at Ron Jon's cape caribe, we stayed for 4 days a couple of yrs ago . It is a great place to stay, its clean bright relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere is very laid back. There are tons of things for kids/teens to do on site and the beach is beautiful. It reminded me of the old florida i knew as a kid, where the resort is , it is not mega developed like a lot of the fl beaches are, a few low rise buildings . There is not a lot in town to do, i think there is one go cart/ putt putt place in the entire town and of course there is the surf shop with several little shops in the same area.
We are going back this summer and i can't wait.
