Has anyone stayed at The Point Orlando, Universal Boulevard?

DH has suddenly got cold feet about staying onsite:confused3 so am looking at other options - even though I want to stay at the Yacht Club!!:rotfl2:

Complete Orlando have a great price for this resort for Sept 2011 - £1174 for accom & tckts.

Thanks you guys

I have just been quoted £800 for a two bedroom suite in October. Great value, comes in 9th on Trip Advisor also.

What is it that's making your DH have reservations about staying onsite? I know this doesn't answer your main question but it sounded, from the way you worded your post, like you had been considering it until now.

Have never stayed there but would consider it for our next trip as DS's are 18 and 15 and it would be nice for them to have their own room. Another one I keep looking at is Westgate Palace overlooking Wet n Wild. Again you can get 2 bedrooms.
Only thing getting in the way is GCSE's and Uni :sad1:

I was seriously considering it also, but the idea of booking ADR's 6 months out seriously does not appeal to me.

There are a lot of posts here where the main focal point of the holiday is planning where to eat each night. I like the idea or saying to my daughter or wife - where do you want to go tonight? Can't do that so much with the DDP if it's a popular restaurant on the free dinning plan.
